Hamer & Hamer Solicitors commenced when Bruce the eldest brother in the family commenced legal practice in Marrickville in the mid 1960s as a sole practitioner. He was soon joined by his middle brother Brian and subsequently his youngest brother Michael Hamer.

The connection with Marrickville ceased in the mid 1970s when each of the Hamer brothers commenced legal practices separately in the locality where they each lived but continuing to practise under the name Hamer & Hamer. Each of the brothers has been active in their local school and community affairs and together with their spouses, have made a significant contribution to their local community.

In more recent times the second generation of Hamer's have joined two of our firms with Virginia Hamer and Anthony Hamer joining the Gordon firm and Murray Hamer and Sadie Hamer joining the Balgowlah firm.

What we are really proud of at Hamer & Hamer is the reputation for our service – not only its quality but the friendly way in which it is provided.
